2010 Unisource calendar (I got to do October!) with Fort Friendship: my personal interpretation of the quote
"Nothing is worth more than this day". The printing on mine got messed up... so the black background turned white. Here it is as
it was supposed to appear!

We Eat Together! A cookbook by Julianna Mimande and Gabe Wong, photography by Zachary Ayotte. I designed the
layout, with help from Gabe. It was the #1 seller in Edmonton in the non-fiction category in December 2009! I know, exciting!

Unique leather camera cases! They were on sale at the Royal Bison craft fair in November, and you can find them now on
myEtsy shop here www.etsy.com/shop/stephaniechan

Pecha Kucha night poster! A collaboration between Gabriel Wong (illustration) and myself.
This installment of Pecha Kucha was all about sustainability and ideas- it was all around a pretty
fancy event, made fancier with our design splashed everywhere!

Identity, website and cart vinyl design for a local street food joint, Filistix. An amazing opportunity to work on
something I'm really passionate about- food/restaurant branding and food photography as well as create a very positive
changefor this small business, now in it's second summer.
Rendering and photography help from Sinan Maani. More
images of the real thing to come soon! visit www.filistix.com

Soft fabric notebooks I created for the Royal Bison art & craft fair (Feb 7 & 8, 2009).
They sold for $8 each, or 2 for $15. It was a great success! see lots more here!

Christmas cards! see more images here...

Design for the U of A's 2008/2009 daily student agenda. I wanted to limit my process in some way in order to create
a very simple yet appealing design; I chose triangles, squares, dots and only 8 colors as my core design elements.
The triangle motif that appears at the top of the agenda pages change from page to page creating a kind of flip book
effect.
Note the bright turquoise coil. FUN!

Be a Lover not a Fighter. Worked with a team to create this campaign - an attempt to reduce violence on Whyte Ave.
Our team created the marketing concept, imagery, and was generally fortunate enough to get to take such a 'risky' angle
on the issue. Photographs- Tina Chang.

Design for an awards night. Two of my favorite things: detailed typography and one-color metallic ink ♥

Dewey's, a campus coffee shop and lounge, needed a redesign. We (Gabe Wong & I) created the logotype first,
and the pattern/motif sprung from this initial concept and -voila- a visual identity was born.
We also developed a plan to have student/alumni artwork displayed in the cafe, and surreptitiously re-arranged the
tables from a jumbled mess into an orderly welcoming environment. If only we had a larger budget, what more we
could have done!
